The Challenge

Though Pearl, Hotel Emma, Pullman Market, and Stable Hall form one connected hospitality ecosystem, cross-property referrals happened informally — driven by which employees happened to know each other rather than any defined system.

Stakeholder interviews surfaced three underlying barriers: underdeveloped trust and relationships across properties, inconsistent referral tracking with no shared visibility, and no common definition, intake process, or governance for how a referral should actually work. Left unaddressed, these gaps meant the campus was leaving guest experience and revenue opportunities on the table every time a guest's needs crossed property lines.

02

Our Approach

VENNtion designed and launched LINK, a branded referral network built to strengthen internal relationships, elevate the guest experience, and turn cross-property opportunity into a repeatable business practice — not just an incentive program.

The recommendation centered on a 90-day pilot: a shared referral framework, standardized definitions, a training curriculum, cross-functional governance, and technology-enabled tracking, with compensation designed as a reinforcement mechanism rather than the primary driver of behavior. The model was built to be simple enough for any employee to understand, additive to existing compensation, and centrally validated to build trust in the system itself.

03

The Outcome

LINK launches as a 90-day pilot in September 2026, with a 30-day evaluation and ongoing KPI review built into the rollout.

The goal: prove that a simple, trust-building referral system can turn informal cross-property relationships into a scalable, repeatable practice — with final recommendations and a broader implementation roadmap for the Silver Ventures portfolio delivered by year-end.
